Aluminum Blue Chromate & Anodize Sealer - 1 Pint

Our NEW Aluminium Blue Chromate and Anodize Sealer is a revolutionary product that can be used in the following ways:

• A Non Hexavalent Chromate On Bare Aluminium (imparts a slight blue to purple colour on parts) - ROHS Compliant
• A primer for paint and powder coat which results in improved corrosion resistance
• Can be used as a dip, spray or brush on application
• Can be used to seal anodized surfaces at room temperature (not ideal for dyed anodize layers due to slight colour change)

When used as a chromate, the coating exceeds the requirements of MIL-DTL-81706B and MIL-DTL-5541F. Parts can be dipped in the solution at room temperature for 5-6 minutes. The solution can also be sprayed or brushed on for touch up in the field.

Procedure For Use As Chromate:

1. Clean parts with an alkaline cleaner, such as our Aluminium Degreaser
2. Rinse
3. Activate (optional with our Aluminium Deoxidizer)
4. Rinse
5. Treat with the chromate
6. Rinse
7. Air Dry (24 hours for maximum coating strength)

Procedure For Use As An Anodize Sealer:

1. Anodize and rinse parts thoroughly
2. Immerse in the sealer for 2-5 minutes at room temperature
3. Rinse
4. Air Dry

When used as a sealer, parts will exceed requirements of MIL-A-8625.

The solution is used as is. No dilution or mixing is required.
