We’re proud to say that our Fuel Tank Seal Remover is the perfect product for removing old, lifting and failed tank sealers.

It safely removes a variety of sealers, resins and paint from the inside of fuel tanks.

PLEASE NOTE This product is only for metal fuel tanks, please do not use fuel tank seal remover on fibreglass, plastic or carbon fibre tanks.

1 Litre of Fuel Tank Seal remover will work on Fuel tanks up to 35 Litres, so if you are removing a sealer from a larger fuel tank please use 1-33 as you calculation

This product is not suitable for Fibreglass or Plastic Fuel tanks

Tank Seal Removers contains aggressive chemicals, and these will attack the fibre glass resin

THIS PRODUCT IS ONLY FOR METAL FUEL TANKS, PLEASE DO NOT USE FUEL TANK SEAL REMOVER ON FIBREGLASS, PLASTIC OR CARBON FIBRE TANKS

1. If possible remove the fuel tap, this is just in case the tank seal remover gets into the rubber components within as it will damage them, Block any breather holes, and remove any internal fuel pumps, or fuel gauge components .

2. Pour in the Tank Seal Remover, this product works from both the liquid and the vapour, normally 1 Litre of Fuel Tank Sealer will be sufficient for any fuel tank up to approximately 33 Litres.

3. Leave the tank for until the old sealer has either loosened or diluted away, this can take anywhere from 10 minutes to overnight depending on what seal has been used.

4. Once the old seal has been removed, pour the tank contents out, and then wash the fuel tank out with a washing up liquid, Rinse well and allow to dry.

5. You are now ready to reseal or if there is any rust, apply a rust remover .

Please note that our shipping prices are a higher than it would cost to send a normal parcel via the post, the reason for this is because any product that contains chemicals must be sent and packed as per the "hazardous goods" regulations, and be transported by a carrier that is licensed to be able to transport. we are unable to send by regular post as it is now a criminal offence to send undeclared hazardous goods.
