Metal sealer 1 Litre

Surface Monkey Metal Sealer (previously known as Black Oxide Sealer) is used as the final stage of a chemical blackening process and for metals requiring superior rust prevention after machining or an alkali, acid or solvent cleaning process.

This is a quality and versatile metal sealer suitable for use on mild steel, stainless steel, brass, copper or aluminium.

Formulated using the latest synthetic materials, Surface Monkey Metal Sealer is resistant to contamination and emulsification and has excellent sealing and de-watering properties. Treated metals are protected against internal air moisture corrosion for up to 9 months and external air moisture corrosion for up to 3 months. Further protection can be gained by periodically re-applying Surface Monkey Metal Sealer or Surface Monkey Beeswax.

Surface Monkey Metal Sealer is easy to apply either by dipping, or by hand or spray.

Initial drying time takes only 45 to 60 minutes and leaves a slight, pleasant sheen that gradually disappears over a few weeks. Final drying time depends on ambient conditions.

Not suitable for internal, decorative furniture and fixings.

Please note that our shipping prices are a higher than it would cost to send a normal parcel via the post, the reason for this is because any product that contains chemicals must be sent and packed as per the "hazardous goods" regulations, and be transported by a carrier that is licensed to be able to transport. We are unable to send by regular post as it is now a criminal offence to send undeclared hazardous goods.
