GEL FOR MILD STEEL

Very simple to apply, and being a Gel it will not run, and is good for applying to fixed structures were there is a need to blacken on the underside of an item, as it will stick easily

As with all Patina products the finish will only be as good as the preparation, therefore its important Clean and remove any grim from the surface prior to applying, room temperature will need to be a minimum of 27°c.

On flat surfaces its difficult to get a complete even finish, as this can normally only be achieved by dipping in Black Oxide Solutions, but with even amounts applied and even weight distribution when polishing you will achieve a good black surface

If the surface is cleaned with Thinners, you are also able to get Artisitic effects which you can experiment with, this product is also good for touching in areas of black oxide that have become damaged.

After you have applied the product, simply rinse of and then apply a sealer

"hazardous goods" regulations, and be transported by a carrier that is licensed to be able to transport.
