Our easy to use Mild Steel Conditioner allows you to complete Stage 2 of the 4 Stage blackening process for any mild steel component.

If you’re blackening different kinds of mild steel, it helps to ensure uniform finish on all components. 

For best results, use at a temperature of 20 to 30 degrees. Dilute 1 part Mild Steel Conditioner with 9 parts water and immerse components for 2 to 10 minutes depending on the type of steel and the desired level of blackening.

Rinse well with clean water then allow to dry naturally before starting Stage 3
