RUST REMOVER 5 LTR

Surface Monkey Rust Remover is a citric acid-based rust remover which also aids against re-rusting and brightens aluminium. To re-use this product, filter and remove any solid contaminants. Store product in a safe container before next use.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

For fuel tank rust remover:

1. Seal any holes to ensure the fuel tank is watertight. Cover the fuel tank paintwork with clingfilm to avoid contact with the product. Make a small hole in the filler area.
2. Add 1 litre of rust remover. Add 7 to 9 litres of water at 50 to 60 degrees Celsius.
3. Put a handful of clean screws into the tank and swirl the screws and solution around the tank to help dislodge rust particles. Repeat every 30 minutes for 2 hours.
4. Empty the contents of the tank. Wash out with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly with clean water. The tank is now ready for using Surface Monkey Fuel Tank Sealer.

For a dipping process or sonic cleaner:

1. Pour 1 litre of Surface Monkey Rust Remover into a container and add 7 litres of water.
2. Up to 3 litres of water can be added. Water temperature must not exceed 80 degrees Celsius. Items must be fully submerged for min. 90 minutes.

   Please note that our shipping prices are a higher than it would cost to send a normal parcel via the post, the reason for this is because any product that contains chemicals must be sent and packed as per the "hazardous goods" regulations, and be transported by a carrier that is licensed to be able to transport. We are unable to send by regular post as it is now a criminal offence to send undeclared hazardous goods.
